From a sucessful campaign and runway model to Cosmetologist, featuring in major fashion weeks and wedding shows such as Hum Bridal Show, Pakistan Fashion Week London, The National Asian Wedding Show and Asiana Bridal Show. ABG caught up with this leading lady on lockdown life, the world of modelling and her business with future plans.
How does it feel when you see yourself a part of major runway shows?
Firstly I’m super grateful to have been accepted and recognised for the hard work I have put in when it comes to my modelling journey.
To have this recognition of being ‘needed’ for any project is super amazing. You know you are in demand when Designers personally request for you to open and close their shows. Allhumdillah always.

Has your perception of the modelling industry changed since you started?
The modelling industry is always growing. It’s demanding but also very liberating. There is always a perception of a certain ‘model’ type however my rule is create your own niche and don’t stop until you have achieved it.

What's the most memorable moment in your career?
I’ve graced a lot of magazine covers but having a 6 page spread in a world recognised magazine such as Grazia is always a pinch me moment.  The front cover was dedicated to me as ‘women of today’ an amazing feeling to see my name and face on this magazine. I’ve done more than one cover for them now too.

Describe your perfect day off when you're not modelling?
Working out, going shopping and catching up with loved ones!

Everyone discovered a hidden talent during their time at home during lockdown, what talent do you think you discovered?
I don’t think it’s a talent haha but I’ve enjoyed taking the time off and giving my body the rest and care it needed. I love cooking too and have been experimenting  loads of new recipes.

What is your beauty routine?
Never sleep with makeup on. Exfoliate once a week. A good eye cream and serum.

What do you do to stay in shape?
So I have studied my body and I finally got to the point where working out isn’t a chore and it is enjoyment. I work out pretty much 6 days a week. Even if it’s 30 mins cardio. I also do lemon and honey in the mornings and don’t eat after 9pm.

What is your go-to outfit for daytime?
If I’m at home, comfortable lounge wear set & and if I’m going out then defiantly jeans, blouse and some boots.

What's the first thing you want to do after lockdown?
Go on a sunny holiday!

Name three things on your bucket list?
Okay, so mine are super simple lol. I’ve jumped out a plane. Lived abroad alone. So I think I would enjoy the simple things. Like go on a skying holiday. Camping not glamping lol which I haven’t done properly yet.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for the beauty industry. I have been a tutor previously teaching at a college and being a full time model I wanted something that would fit my schedule and something I absolutely love. I wanted to work for myself and my clinic is my baby. L’amour Clinic do check it out.

What advice can you give others wanting to become models or entrepreneurs?
Have faith. Hard work pays off in anything you set your heart too. As an inspiring model set realistic goals, know your angles, reach out to a good agency and create a good portfolio.

What's the next step in your career? What does the future hold?
The future is limitless. Constant hard work in everything I set myself too. You'll have to keep following my journey to see what pies my hands are in!
